Today we did the first run of week 2 of Couch to 5K. And it went quite well.

We’ve managed to get the local village hall to do our runs in for the time being. It helps my sister, she’s not anxious as there’s nobody around and it’s just us. It also helps me to have a proper cool down /stretch at the end to help my muscles recover.
We actually managed to stick to the guide, running and walking when the app tells us to. During one of the runs, my leg cramp got really painful so I had to take a moment to stretch it out, it helped a little and I managed to push through the rest without stopping.
I had a nice stretch afterwards and that got rid of the cramps. I say cramps – it only ever my right leg.

Today was fantastic and I feel like we’ve made a huge accomplishment.
