Happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers out there! And thoughts to those that have a struggling relationship with their mums, those whose mums aren’t here any longer, or just anybody that struggles with Mother’s Day in general; I understand it because I struggle with this day too.
I’ve had a lovely day off work today. Completely needed. And I’ve relaxed for most of the day.
I woke up feeling quite tired, got up and sat downstairs and chilled. B joined me and we watched the Harry and Meghan/Oprah interview which I’ve been wanting to watch for a while.
I then began cooking tea (dinner – whatever you call your evening meal) and B cleaned out Ron’s cage (out hamster baby). Tea was gorgeous, I made the best roast potatoes!
After tea, I had cheerleading practice. It’s currently via Zoom which sucks but we really worked hard and I felt like it was a great workout, I just really can’t wait until we can get back to the gym and stunt again.
Tonight, I’m gonna watch Dancing On Ice final, and then The Circle. I’m a sucker for reality TV 😂
THREE POSITIVES FROM TODAY:
1. I’ve had a relaxing day
2. Sundays are cheerleading days
3. I made very tasty roast potatoes
